Repair and Replacement
We carry out our repairs using a product called Lithomex. It is a special formulated mortar which is perfect for repair work as it can simulate masonry, brick and stone so it is possible to match the colour and texture of the original surface. We can repair, replace and repoint where needed to listed buildings, period properties and monuments.
Cleaning
HRG Services offer a specialised cleaning restoration service for listed and older buildings, monuments and decorative surfaces using approved systems for the careful and delicate cleaning of such surfaces to protect from damage.
We can restore and preserve surfaces affected by environmental pollution and organic growth using various techniques including the use of the JOS/VorTech and ThermaTech systems together with a range of poultice and chemical options.
Our skilled team apply these techniques to a variety of problem areas including the removal of heavily soiled brick, stone and masonry substrates, traffic pollution, soot, varnish, paint, moss, lichen, algae etc. Covering substrates that include decorative facades, listed buildings, war memorials, churches, monuments, stone carvings and much more.

On many projects we advise that before any major work are started that trial panels are completed.
This will ensure many things from the level of clean that can be achieved, damage to surface and of course costs.
Although this is at an extra cost first of it can prove a good cost saving exercise in the long run.
