If your timber sash or casement windows have fallen into a state of disrepair then our Resin and Restoration option is a must for you.

We will strip back the necessary paint work to fully establish all rotten areas which we will then remove before applying our resin system, a method preferred by English Heritage.

Our aim is to remove all rotten timbers back to a sound surface, preserving as much of the original woodwork as possible.

As well as removing rotten areas we can also include remove old rotten cills and install new ones and replace profiles and sash pockets where needed using our resin as well as scarfing in new timber sections where needed.

If your windows are rattling and letting in cold air, our draught proofing service is designed to bring new life to any timber window and will dramatically improve energy efficiency at a fraction of the cost of replacement. Our team with remove your sashes from the frame then replace them with new draught proof beading, pulleys ropes or hinges and window new furniture set.

At HRG Services Ltd, we specialise in converting single pane wooden windows into slim double glazed sash windows using our 12mm sash window double glazing units.  We offer two ways to achieve this.  One is by installing directly into your existing sashes or casements the other is to make matching sashes/casements in our joinery with the slim double glazing installed into them.

Our team can remove all rotten timber from your window and then use our specialist resins, favoured by English Heritage for the repair of period timber.  It can also be moulded to different profiles, blending in seamlessly with the existing window and providing a permanent repair.  Our team will remove rotten timber and cills where needed and replace these with new hardwood cills, resins and spliced in timber.

We cannot only restore your windows but we also offer a full high quality in-house redecoration service.  HRG can complete all the works from start to finish meaning the client does not have to enlist the services of another company.  All windows will be fully prepped, filled and sanded.  Followed by a primer, undercoat and topcoat paint system for maximum protection.
