Full Refurbishment and repair to property in Bournemouth

SUMMARY

HRG services were called to repair and treat 10 sash windows on this busy property in Boscombe, Bournemouth. These windows needed to be checked and treated for rotten wood. Once treated and repaired, new glass was also added as per the needs of the property. As this particular property is also a functioning charity hall, the restoration needed to be completed in a timely manner. The Team caused minimal interruptions to the day to day functionality of the hall.

SPECIFICATION

This project started with the assessment of all 10 sash windows to check the level of rot. This was then treated with a mixture of timbers and specialist resin, then new 3 over 3, 6 over 2, and 3 over 3 sash windows were installed. The sashes were removed from their frames so new fixtures could be added, then new draught proofing parting and staff beads were fitted. New fan lights and Dan lights were also added over the sash windows and then the sash windows themselves were adjusted and the window furniture replaced. All of these adjustments and changes brought these Sash windows to a renewed glory as they became functional once again. This project was completed within 30 days as per the clients timescale.
